What I Do / What I Am

For the Christian Business Owner Who Is Also an Alzheimer's Caregiver

You are running a business and caring for someone you love — simultaneously. The world was not built for what you are doing. Most coaches were not trained for it either.

This page exists so you know exactly what working with me looks like — and what it doesn’t. No guessing. No surprises. Just clarity.

What I Do

  • I coach Christian business owners who are Alzheimer's and dementia caregivers — equipping you to lead your business and honor your loved one without losing yourself in the process.

  • I provide a custom Caregiver Roadmap for every client — a practical, personalized framework built around your specific business, your caregiving season, and your faith foundation.

  • I give you tools and strategies to manage burnout, protect your business revenue, shift your mindset, and build the endurance this journey demands.

  • I walk beside you — offering accountability, encouragement, and practical insight so that no decision, no crisis, and no hard season has to be faced alone.

  • I integrate faith into everything I do — not as pressure or denomination, but as Christian hope, strength, and renewal. You bring as much or as little as you need.

  • I help you protect your leadership capacity — because a leader who breaks cannot serve their team, their clients, or their loved one. Your health is mission-critical, and I treat it that way.

  • I help you have the conversations others avoid — with your team, your family, your medical providers, and yourself — with clarity and confidence.

  • I empower you to take decisive action, own your choices, and move forward with purpose — even when the circumstances are beyond your control.

You built something worth protecting. This work is about making sure caregiving doesn't take it from you.

The Advisory Team Behind Every Roadmap

I do not work alone. I have assembled an insider advisory team of licensed and credentialed professionals who inform and contribute to every custom Caregiver Roadmap I build.

That team includes:

•  Pastors and Chaplains — for faith and spiritual support

•  Hospice Nurse — for end-of-life care guidance

•  Geriatrician — for age-related medical expertise

•  Psychologist — for mental and emotional health

•  Pharmacist — for medication management

•  Financial Advisor — for caregiving financial planning

•  Dietitian — for nutrition during caregiving

•  Estate Planning & Elder Law Attorneys — for legal preparation

•  Physical Therapist and Chiropractor — for caregiver physical health

•  Neurologist — for dementia-specific medical context

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

— Proverbs 27:17

Their expertise ensures that every Roadmap I build is grounded in more than coaching — it is built on a foundation of specialized professional wisdom, custom-fitted to your unique situation and priorities.

What I Do Not Do

  • I do not provide long-term therapy, counseling, or unpack unresolved trauma.

  • I do not preach, represent a denomination, or push religion on anyone.

  • I do not make decisions for clients a— you remain in charge of your choices and your life at all times.

  • I do not offer medical, legal, or financial advice. For these areas, I will always direct you to the appropriate licensed professional — including the advisors on my team.

  • I do not respond to emergencies or crises. In any emergency, contact appropriate local authorities immediately.

Disclaimer: I am not a licensed therapist, counselor, physician, or attorney. What I Am

  • A Certified Christian Business Performance & Leadership Coach — trained and credentialed to work with business owners at the intersection of high performance and high-stakes personal circumstances.

  • A Coach — I help you get clear on where you are, where you need to be, and the specific steps to close the gap. No vague platitudes. Practical strategy.

  • A Mentor — I have lived this journey. I walked the exact road you are on — running a business while caring full-time for my wife Vera through her Alzheimer's diagnosis and progression. I do not speak theoretically. I speak from the trenches.

  • A Life Coach — I equip you with tools to manage stress, protect your mindset, and build the resilience this season demands.

  • An Accountability Partner — I keep you focused on what matters, help you follow through, and refuse to let you disappear into survival mode without a fight.

  • A Faith-Anchored Guide — I bring Christian hope, strength, and Scripture into this work — not as pressure, but as the foundation that has held me together on this road and can hold you together too.

  • A Business Protector — I understand what is at stake for your company when your leadership is under siege. My work is designed to protect your revenue, your team, your reputation, and your future.

I'm not here to make caregiving easier. I'm here to make sure it doesn't destroy what you've built — or who you are.

What I Am Not

  • I am not a therapist — I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

  • I am not a counselor — I do not provide long-term unpacking of trauma or deep psychological work.

  • I am not clergy — I do not preach sermons or represent any denomination. I am a Christian man who shares faith as hope and strength when it is wanted and needed.

  • I am not the authority in your life — you set the agenda and make your own decisions. My job is to equip you, not to direct you.

  • I am not a substitute for medical, legal, or financial professionals — I am the one who makes sure you know when to call them and who to call.

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."
